All interviews for the 2025-26 Match cycle will be on a virtual platform.
We plan to release our initial round of invitations in late October. VCU does not invite more applicants than we have room to accommodate.
What to Expect when Interviewing with VCU EM
We want to get to know you beyond your ERAS application. We believe in a holistic review not just numbers.
The night before the interview we will have a virtual chat with residents only, since we will not be able to have a dinner as in prior years.
The day of the interview you will be scheduled to a morning or afternoon group. You will be given the link to the virtual session. After the program introduction by the Program Director, you will each be placed in your own breakout room and interviewers will be added and removed according to the schedule that you will be provided.
You will interview with residency leadership, residents, and faculty.
Visiting VCU
